“Venetian Red” portrait (SOLD)

This original portrait is drawn in studio in an hour using two drawing mediums of the same color. It features my usual style of exaggerated lines. Conte crayon is like charcoal with a little wax to bind it better to the paper. I ground some of that color and applied it with a soft-tipped drawing instrument. The natural color of the paper adds to the warm tone of the drawing.
