    “Venetian Red” portrait (SOLD)

    This original portrait is drawn from a live model in an hour using two drawing mediums of the same color. It features my usual style of exaggerated lines. Conte crayon is like charcoal with a little wax to bind it better to the paper. I ground some of that color and applied it with a soft-tipped drawing instrument. The natural color of the paper adds to the warm tone of the drawing. Colored pencil and Conte crayon on Strathmore 400 drawing paper 18x24". 2025. One only.
