This original portrait is drawn from a live model in an hour using two drawing mediums of the same color. It features my usual style of exaggerated lines. Conte crayon is like charcoal with a little wax to bind it better to the paper. I ground some of that color and applied it with a soft-tipped drawing instrument. The natural color of the paper adds to the warm tone of the drawing.
